Garments, research and drawings for F/W Sportswear Collection.
For my senior thesis collection I mix and match fabrics from my travels in Florence, Paris, and Istanbul. My garments reference traditional Japanese construction, archaic drapery, and children's wear. These different influences come together to create spontaneous minimalism.
The garments I design are not constrained to a particular age, time, or gender. I gravitate toward textured fabrics and like to create my own fabric manipulations. I watch as the fabric reacts to the figure and determine my designs based on this relationship.
